Magnitude 6.3 Earthquake Hits Northern Chile

On early Tuesday, a 6.3-greatness seismic tremor hit northern Chile, according to the US Geological Survey.

The tremor hit 70 kilometers (43 miles) east of the seaside city of Arica, which is close to the border with Peru, the US office said.

The tremor struck at a profundity of 82 kilometers, it included.
