Netizen resurrects old photo of Trillanes et. al & member of Lopez family to debunk ABS-CBN President’s statement network does not have political agenda?

In case you just emerged from your cave, ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak issued a statement saying sorry to the President if they offended him, but that was not the intention of the network.

Katigbak went on to explain that they were just abiding by the laws and regulations that surround the airing of political advertisements. But the network did not find it inappropriate to air Trillanes’ ad using children to attack President Duterte.

And in the last part of the statement, they want to make a categorical statement that ABS-CBN DOES NOT HAVE AND WILL NOT HAVE ITS OWN POLITICAL AGENDA. All caps for emphasis.

Let us say this again, ABS-CBN DOES NOT HAVE AND WILL NOT HAVE ITS OWN POLITICAL AGENDA.

Fast forward today, a photo of Ernie Lopez together with Antonio Trillanes IV, Gary Alejano and Francisco Acedillo resurfaces online yesterday. I said resurfaces because this photo has been shared before.

The Pro-Duterte Facebook page wrote: Exposed! The stink of their conspiracy leaks. “BUKING!!! SUMINGAW ANG BAHO NG SABWATAN “

The admin of the pro-Duterte page asked: Do we just allow these paid media to continue fooling us? Since the time of Marcos until now? Hahayaan niyo nalang ba patuloy tayo niloloko ng mga bayarang media na ito? Simula pa sa panahon ni Marcos hanggang ngayon?

The admin brought up the statement of Carlo Katigbak, President & CEO, ABS-CBN once again, “ABS-CBN has no political agenda.”-

The admin went on to urge netizens to check out the photos below, “LOOK: Ernie Lopez, Head of ABS-CBN Publishing with Magdalo’s Trillanes, Alejano and Acedillo.”

According to the blog which posted photo #2 in its post the photo was taken weeks before the Mgadalo group of Trillanes filed the impeachment case versus President Duterte. [Link here]
