The ‘C’ is silent, Internet, though the noise this thing will likely make at its Geneva International Motor Show debut next month probably won’t be. A new hypercar is entering the stable, and it is called the Czinger 21C.
Named after company founder Kevin Czinger, said new hypercar is a bespoke, ground-up design featuring a hybrid powertrain of unspecified quantity. All we know is this hybrid setup is ‘strong’, and will be slotted into a “cutting-edge chassis” and “bespoke structure” made from high-performance componentry. Like carbon fiber. Lots and lots of carbon fiber.
Designed and built in Los Angeles, the 21C “is a paradigm shift in the way performance vehicles are conceived,” Czinger says. There’s certainly something novel about the seating, because it’s in-line. Tandem. Just like in that mad Yamaha OX99-11 and the Carver One.
You can pore over some details and a shady pic of the full car at leisure. Before you do, a final note from its makers: “Czinger has crafted a revolutionary hypercar fit for the 21st century.” We’ll find out when it’s revealed in March. Watch this space.
