Creamline Cool Smashers fans expressed concern after witnessing Alyssa Valdez walking gingerly during their 25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 25-14 loss to Kurashiki Ablaze of Japan in the PVL Invitational semifinals on Friday night at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
A video posted by Kim Delaney Madrid showed Valdez walking with a visible injury on the sidelines, intensifying fans’ concerns. Adding to their worry was the fact that the volleyball phenom was not utilized by Creamline in the last two sets.
