Bernadeth Pons displayed her potential as one of the Creamline Cool Smashers’ offensive options, delivering impressive numbers during their 25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 25-14 loss to Kurashiki Ablaze of Japan in the PVL Invitational semis on Friday night.
After rarely being utilized in the Cool Smashers’ previous matches, the former Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws star was given extended playing time against the Ablaze, and she made the most of it by contributing nine points.
Cool Smashers fans expressed their appreciation for Pons and expressed their hope that head coach Sherwin Meneses will include her in the rotation for the championship game against the Ablaze on Sunday night.

Bias aside, ito na yung wake-up call ng Creamline to make Bernadeth Pons a starter sa linggo against Kurashiki Ablaze. She was able to outsmart the blockers and cover the floor defense as well.
