Alas Pilipinas team captain Jia de Guzman had nothing but praise for rising star Angel Canino, who was named Best Opposite Spiker in the 2025 AVC Nations Cup.
De Guzman, who was also honored as Best Setter of the tournament, took to Instagram to post a heartfelt story showing Canino receiving her award alongside tournament MVP Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen of Vietnam.
