Rondae Hollis-Jefferson expected to join Jordan in FIBA World Cup

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is expected to make a comeback to the Philippines next month, this time as a member of the Jordanian basketball team participating in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

According to the team, Hollis-Jefferson is currently in the process of obtaining Jordanian citizenship to fulfill the role of their naturalized player.

If the process is completed ahead of schedule, Hollis-Jefferson will be eligible to immediately suit up for the Jordanian squad in the upcoming world games.

The former NBA player has already joined the Jordanian team in Lithuania for their training camp as they gear up for the World Cup.
Hollis-Jefferson was in the country last April when he played a crucial role in helping the TNT Tropang Giga secure the 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup championship.

In the upcoming World Cup, Jordan has been placed in Group B alongside the United States, Greece, and New Zealand. The team will compete in their group stage matches at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
