Just a week after the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots drafted him, Patrick Maagdenberg has joined the Converge FiberXers.
The 6-foot-5 center is one of three rookies who signed contracts with the FiberXers, as announced on their social media pages at midnight on Sunday.
Maagdenberg, a former Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles player, was the 30th overall pick in the PBA Season 48 Rookie Draft by the Hotshots.
Alongside Maagdenberg, the FiberXers also signed rookies Bryan Andrade and Kamron Vigan.
These signings came after the FiberXers let go of veterans Maverick Ahanmisi and Jeron Teng during the offseason.
Several rookie selections by the FiberXers, including the ninth overall pick, Deschon Winston, are yet to be signed.
