Muntinlupa’s John Amores acknowledges ongoing efforts to control temper

Muntinlupa Cagers forward and PBA rookie aspirant John Amores acknowledged that managing his temper is an ongoing challenge.

He recognizes the need to adjust his attitude, especially because the PBA has strict rules regarding on-court violence.

Amores stirred controversy due to his involvement in a punching incident while playing for the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers in an NCAA game against the College of St. Benilde Blazers last year.

Currently, Amores is competing for the Cagers in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League and has managed to avoid any on-court altercations.

The 24-year-old forward revealed that studying sports psychology and undergoing anger management have been instrumental in helping him manage his temper.
