The De La Salle University Lady Spikers reportedly will not be taking part in the upcoming Shakey’s Super League pre-season tournament, set to commence on September 16.
As per a post by Capture Media, citing a reliable source, the Lady Spikers have chosen to forgo the tournament in order to allow the team to recover from injuries.

The Lady Spikers were initially scheduled to be in the same bracket as the College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers, the University of Perpetual Help Lady Altas, and the San Sebastian College Lady Stags.
DLSU, the reigning UAAP women’s volleyball champions, secured the runner-up position to the National University Lady Bulldogs in the Shakey’s Super League pre-season tournament last year.
The Lady Spikers, however, made a comeback in the Shakey’s Super League Invitational last July, clinching victory in the championship round against the Adamson University Lady Falcons.
