Sports insider Snow Badua revealed that Kyt Jimenez is still not included in the San Miguel Beermen’s team roster for the upcoming PBA season.
According to Badua, the Beermen are eager to include Jimenez in their line-up, but the rookie has yet to secure release from the GenSan Warriors, his MPBL team.
“SMB want to include local basketball KYT JIMENEZ to its PBA 48th Season line-up,” Badua posted. “GENSAN and MPBL won’t give him release papers as they claim he has a contract til December.”
The Beermen selected Jimenez as the 76th overall pick in this year’s draft. They signed him to a two-year deal.
Badua added that Jimenez is one of the GenSan players who experiences delayed salaries with the team.
GenSan is still in contention in the ongoing MPBL playoffs.
