Chris Ross, renowned as one of the best defensive guards in PBA history, acknowledged Arvin Tolentino’s impressive scoring ability.
This comes after Tolentino posted images from his recent Commissioner’s Cup games on Instagram.
“Ballin’ like a villain,” Tolentino wrote in the caption.
In the comment section, Ross heaped praise on the NorthPort forward.
“Bucket getter!” Ross commented.
Ross’ praise for Tolentino’s scoring ability is evidence that the former FEU Tamaraw has solidified his status as one of the rising stars in the league.
Tolentino has maintained impressive averages of 23.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists with a 44% shooting accuracy in the current Commissioner’s Cup. Notably, he has earned Player of the Week honors twice this conference.
Thanks to his remarkable performances, the Batang Pier have surpassed expectations, currently holding a 5-4 record and positioning themselves in the middle of the standings. (MJD)
