Victorinara “Ara” Galang has joined the Chery Tiggo Crossovers after the disbandment of the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers last month.
Galang, 28, was introduced as one of the new recruits for the Crossovers on Tuesday as the team sets its sights on a competitive run in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League season.
The former De La Salle University Lady Spikers standout expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play on a young team like the Crossovers. She looks forward to meeting her new teammates and the fans.
“I am grateful for this opportunity na makalaro sa Chery Tiggo, and I am very excited na makasama ‘yung mga bata,” said Galang, who has been a member of the Cargo Movers since 2016.
“Sa mga supporters ko, I hope na magkita-kita’t magsama-sama pa tayo sa journey ko sa Chery. Sa Chery fans, excited akong ma-meet kayo,” she added.
Galang’s introduction took place a day after Chery Tiggo teased their new acquisitions for the 2024 season on their social media pages.
“Christmas may be over, but we still have packages to open… so stay tuned ,” the Crossovers wrote on their Facebook page.
The Crossovers secured a fourth-place finish in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference.
