Strong Group-Philippines reinforcements Dwight Howard and Andray Blatche failed to arrive on time in the country due to a missed connecting flight.
As per team head coach Charles Tiu, the initial flights of Howard and Blatche faced significant delays, resulting in their arrival in the country being rescheduled for Sunday night.

Howard, aged 38, had previously invited his Filipino fans to welcome him at the airport upon his arrival, expressing his willingness to engage in photo ops and sign autographs for his supporters.
The one-time NBA champion has been selected to bolster the Strong Group-Philippines team for the upcoming 33rd Dubai International Basketball Championship, scheduled later this month.
Meanwhile, the remaining reinforcements for Strong Group, McKenzie Moore and Andre Roberson, arrived late Saturday night.
