Denden Lazaro-Revilla looks forward to winning more PVL titles alongside former college teammate Alyssa Valdez at the Creamline Cool Smashers.
Lazaro-Revilla expresses excitement about being on the same team as Valdez again after spending the past few PVL seasons on opposite sides.
“I am really excited to be with Ly again, kasi nga, we spend mga five and a couple of national team stints together,” Lazaro-Revilla said during the recent PVL Media Day aired at Pilipinas Live.
“I know how much love and hard work she puts into every game, every season, so I am excited to be with her again on the court, on the same team, and hopefully mag translate ‘yun into championships,” she added.
Lazaro-Revilla and Valdez played together for five years at the Blue Eagles in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament before they went separate ways in the professional ranks.
The two Blue Eagles standouts also became teammates several times on the national women’s volleyball team.
Lazaro-Revilla, along with Bea de Leon, was able to reunite with Valdez at the Cool Smashers during the offseason after they opted not to renew their contract with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
