Dani Ravena upbeat on NxLed’s potential for additional PVL victories

NxLed Chameleons libero Dani Ravena is optimistic that their 25-21, 25-18, and 25-15 sweep over the Galeries Tower Highrisers will pave the way for more victories in the PVL 1st All-Filipino Conference.

The team captain believes that the Chameleons’ first win in the conference is beneficial for the team’s mental state, allowing them to play with less pressure on the court.

“We’re happy na at least (nakapanalo na din kami). Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a lot of wins to come,” said Ravena, who tallied 10 excellent digs and seven excellent receptions in the win.

“For us mentally, it was more on getting it point by point, set by set, and then the entire game, so I can say it’s a team effort,” added the former Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles standout.

With the victory, the Chameleons have snapped their three-game losing streak to start the PVL’s season-opening conference.

Up next for Ravena and the Chameleons is their sister team, the Akari Power Chargers, on Saturday at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna.
