Parity kuno! Blackwater’s Dioceldo Sy criticized for Nambatac-Montalbo trade

Blackwater Bossing owner Dioceldo Sy received criticism from netizens after his team traded Rey Nambatac to the TNT Tropang Giga in exchange for Kib Montalbo and a future second-round pick.

Commenting on a Fastbreak post about the trade, netizens called out Sy for allowing the controversial one-sided player swap despite his previous suggestion for a dispersal draft to improve the PBA’s parity.

Here are some of the comments:

“Walk the talk blackwater, 😂🤣 may parity ba sa ginawa mong trade 😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Farm team talaga itong itim na tubig 😁

“Dioceldo, natagpuang kumakain ng sariling salita.”

“Salita pa owner nyo parity, tapos ganyan… Hahahaha.. Tapos kasalanan nang smc at mvp. Pero mga ganyang owners walang bash, hahahaa”

“Joker pla tong owner ng black water..kakasabi nya lng parity pra balance dw..tas tinirade c nambatac.”

“Parity pa more 🤣

“Joke lang daw yung parity kuno sabi ng blackwater 😂😂

“Blackwater Elite lumaki ba kayo sa Farm?”

“Tapos sabi ng farm team gawing balance ang liga!”

“Ayan sige pa, kaya tuloy pagbagsak ng liga dahil sa mga ganitong trade.”

“Luge na naman Farm Team😭

Since entering the league, the Bossing have surprisingly traded away their key players to MVP-owned teams—the Tropang Giga, the Meralco Bolts, and the NLEX Road Warriors.
Five members of the Tropang Giga team were former Bossing players: former top-overall pick Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, John Paul Erram, Brian Heruela, Barkley Ebona, and now Rey Nambatac.

The Bolts also have four former Blackwater players in Allein Maliksi, Raymar Jose, Diego Dario, and Kyle Pascual, while the Road Warriors have two ex-Bossing players in Renato Ular and Baser Amer.
