Former PBA commissioner Noli Eala criticized the current Terrafirma Dyip roster as “a shameful team,” stating that the squad, despite being led by Christian Standhardinger and Stanley Pringle, lacks defense and energy on the court.
“I intentionally watched Terrafirma today. And this is just a shameful team. Absolutely no defense,” Eala wrote on his X account. “No life. No spark.”
“And now it’s more obvious Standhardinger and Pringle can score but do not play defense,” added the veteran sports commentator.
I intentionally watched Terrafirma today. And this is just a shameful team. Absolutely no defense giving up 100 points to Converge in 3 quarters, 47 in the 3rd. No life. No spark. And now it’s more obvious Standhardinger and Pringle can score but do not play defense.

Terrafirma underwent a strange offseason trade as they sent younger players Stephen Holt and George Isaac Go to the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings for Standhardinger and Pringle.
The Dyip currently has a 0-2 win-loss record in the PBA Governors’ Cup following their lopsided defeats to the Converge FiberXers (127-95) and the NorthPort Batang Pier (112-93).
