San Miguel Beer continued to struggle against Hong Kong Eastern in the EASL, falling 84-74 on Wednesday at Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
This marked San Miguel’s third straight loss to Hong Kong in a month.
Eastern started strong with an 11-1 run, extending their lead to 30-11 by the second quarter. Although the Beermen cut the deficit to 77-70, Kobey Lam’s clutch three-pointer sealed the game for Hong Kong.
Cameron Clark led Eastern with 25 points and eight rebounds, while Chris McLaughlin contributed a double-double of 15 points and 17 rebounds.
June Mar Fajardo and Don Trollano scored 20 points each for San Miguel.
