The Philippine men’s curling team continued its impressive run at the Asian Winter Games, edging China in the semifinals to guarantee at least a silver medal in Harbin, China.
Composed of Alan Frei, Enrico Pfister, Christian Haller, Marc Pfister, and Benjo Delarmente, the team secured a narrow 7-6 victory over the host nation to advance to the gold medal match.
The Nationals will battle Korea Republic for the championship on Friday.
Before taking down China, the Philippines pulled off a stunning 10-4 upset over powerhouse Japan to reach the semifinals.
