The Philippine women’s national football team has named 24 players for its training camp in Dubai next month, but World Cup goal-scorer Sarina Bolden will not be part of the squad.
Leading the lineup are Hali Long, Olivia McDaniel, Angela Beard, Katrina Guillou, and Sara Eggesvik. The team also called up Maz Pacheco and newcomers Madison Ayson, Aliana Weibel, and Paige McSwigan.
The Filipinas will play two friendlies against the United Arab Emirates on April 4 and April 8 as part of their preparations for upcoming tournaments.
They are set to defend their title in the MSIG Serenity Cup and compete in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers in June and the Southeast Asian Games in December.
