Amid former President Rodrigo Duterte’s International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest, Jolina Dela Cruz took to X on Wednesday to reaffirm her political stance.
The Farm Fresh Foxies spiker spoke out after a De La Salle University (DLSU) fan assumed she supported Duterte because she liked an Instagram tribute posted by his daughter, Kitty Duterte.

Some of you are making something out of nothing. I understand your political views and each one of us may have different opinions pero wag to the point na lahat ng galaw binabantayan and making it a big deal.
Para matapos na po.

“Some of you are making something out of nothing. I understand your political views, and each one of us may have different opinions, pero ‘wag to the point na lahat ng galaw, babantayan, and making it a big deal,” Jolina wrote.
“Para matapos na po. [I]didn’t like the post based on political views,” she added.
Dela Cruz, who had been inactive on X, also responded to the fan directly, expressing frustration over being scrutinized despite her absence from the platform.

“Wala ka na naman punching bag, teh? Nananahimik ‘yung tao oh,” she said.
“I’ve been vocal about my political views. Hanapin mo na lang since ang dami mong time mang-stalk.”
Another fan attempted to mediate, saying the initial assumption was made out of confusion rather than malice.
Dela Cruz, who was previously seen hanging out with Kitty Duterte when the latter was dating her friend and fellow DLSU alumnus Evan Nelle, remained firm in her response.
“First of all, if you’re confused, you don’t have to create an issue,” she stated.
During the 2022 presidential elections, the former DLSU stalwart openly supported Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan over the tandem of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte.
