Volleyball fans were left buzzing with excitement after witnessing an epic five-set showdown between the Akari Power Chargers and the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles on Saturday night in the PVL on Tour at the Ynares Center in Montalban, Rizal.
Akari carved out a thrilling 26-24, 25-21, 17-25, 17-25, 17-15 win—its first in three games—but for many fans, it was the high-stakes action and drama that stole the show.
Social media was abuzz with praises, with fans calling it one of the most exciting matches of the tour so far.

Though only one team could come away with the win, fans agreed it was a match where volleyball came out on top.
Gretchel Soltones top-scored for Akari with 23 points, while Christine Joy Soyud added 19 markers, including some clutch hits in the fifth set.
The Power Chargers will attempt for their second straight win against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers on Sunday afternoon.
