1 person dead after shooting in Shirley B. Winston Park

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) - The Columbus Police Department have reported that a person has died following a shooting near Shirley B. Winston Park.

Officers arrived at the park at the 5000 block of Stream Mill Road in reference to a shooting.

CPD confirmed with WRBL News 3 that one person is dead at the scene.

The investigations currently remains active.
