AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) — Changes will soon be coming to the Wright Street parking deck near Auburn University.
According to city officials, a new control system will be installed in the parking deck located at 140 Wright Street. Work will take place from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5. Parking will be free while work is being done. Paid parking will resume on Friday, Sept. 5.
The city says costs for the deck will remain at $1 an hour up to $15 a day.
In addition to traditional paper tickets, people parking in the deck will also have the option to tap or swipe a credit card when entering and exiting the deck instead of pulling a paper ticket.
