COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Monday morning! A new week is here, and the weather pattern hasn't changed much. We're starting off with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the mid 60s across most of the area.
We're already halfway through the month, and so far, measurable rainfall has been hard to come by—and that dry trend looks to continue this week. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 80s to low 90s, but at least we're still enjoying relatively low humidity.
Tonight stays clear and comfortable, with temps dipping back into the mid-60s.
A weak upper-level low is overhead, but it's not doing much to shake up our pattern. High pressure over the Mid-Atlantic remains in control, while a weak low off the Carolina coast will help keep things breezy at times and maintain those low dew points.
Looking ahead, not much changes. Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies and highs around 90° for most of the week. A few more clouds may drift in as we head toward the weekend, and there are some early signs of a sprinkle or two—but don't count on it just yet.
