COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Not a bad forecast to end the weekend. Temperatures will eventually cool into the 70s by midnight. Plus, we are seeing some clouds build in from the north.
Monday: Get ready for much of the same tomorrow. Morning temperatures will sit in the low 60s but will quickly rise into the upper 80s. Plus, we have nothing but sunshine in store.
Rest of the week: A weak shortwave will move through on Tuesday, but the only thing we expect is more clouds in the afternoon. Once that clears, high pressure is back on.
By the middle of next week, afternoon temperatures will be above average. You can expect readings to rise in to the low-mid 90s by Thursday.
Dry soils are likely to get worse over the next few weeks. We do not have any substantial rainfall in the First Alert Forecast.
Next Weekend: A little more humidity moves in next weekend. Stray showers are possible, for now, by next Sunday.
