Columbus, Ga. (WRBL) - Smiths Station Football is usually an after thought in the Chattahoochee Valley. In last week's season opener, the Panthers shattered the usual low expectations. Last Thursday, the panthers beat Shaw 24-nothing. It was the Panthers' first win since October 20th, 2023.
That new energy arrived when new head coach Blair Harrison arrived on campus. He maybe new to Smiths Station, but he's not new to winning. Just across the state line in Georgia…coach Harrison is the winningest coach in 0 school's history. His last job before leading the Panthers was coaching at Shaw back in 2022. Now the ball coach is back where he belongs.
