Dry across the area; Above-average temperatures on the way

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Happy Friday! It is looking great for Friday Night Football this evening. Temperatures are a little warm, sitting in the upper 80s/lower 90s, but the breeze is helping us out.

Next Week: The high pressure that has kept us dry will continue to remain dominant in our forecast. By the middle of next week, temperatures across the entire country will trend above average. Locally, we can expect low-mid 90s at the end of the week.

There is no chance for rain in our First Alert Forecast, which is only going to make our rain deficit worse. So far this year we are nearly 3 inches below average. The News 3 area is not in a drought yet, but we will be monitoring this closely.
