Semitruck overturned on I-85 northbound before Exit 66, Opelika police say

OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) — The Opelika Police Department says officers responded to an overturned semitruck on Wednesday.

According to OPD, the semitruck overturned on I-85 northbound right before Exit 66 near Andrews Road.

The incident led to the outside lane being closed as crews worked to remove the semitruck from the shoulder.

OPD advises the public to expect delays and use caution, while driving in the area.
