LaGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — The Troup County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday that a woman has been charged with murder after her husband died from being shot in the head weeks later.
The sheriff's office says investigators charged Tracy Lynn White with murder in connection with the shooting of her husband.

According to officials, on Aug. 11 at 7:50 a.m., Troup County Fire and EMS responded to an emergency call at 196 Chipley Mountville Road.
Upon arrival, an adult male, later identified as Dawendall White, 47, was found unresponsive in his home and bleeding from his head.

White was initially transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center for treatment and was listed in critical condition.
White was then taken into custody in Lee County, Alabama, and was charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, and aggravated stalking due to her previous arrest for aggravated assault/family violence in July, according to Troup County authorities.
The sheriff's office said that the Criminal Investigations Division was informed on Wednesday that Dawendall White died in an Atlanta area hospital, where he had been since the shooting occurred.
