PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) —The Russell County coroner has released preliminary autopsy results in last week's deadly house fire on Wehring Lane.
Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. confirmed that all four victims died from smoke inhalation.

On Oct. 13, the family of four was found dead inside a home. All four victims were pronounced dead at 8:31 p.m., according to the coroner.
The blaze claimed the lives of 77-year-old Willey Chappell, 70-year-old Sarah Chappell, 40-year-old Vantice Williams, and 6-year-old Paradise Williams.

Investigators have not yet determined what caused the fire.
