COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The man accused of assaulting a Columbus State University student in a parking garage appeared in court for a probable cause hearing Wednesday morning.
Hosni Batebawia, 20, pled not guilty to aggravated assault, aggravated sexual battery, rape and second degree hijacking of a motor vehicle.
Detective testimony claims that after Batebawia was turned down by the 17-year-old victim, he stood in the way of the victim closing her car door. The details of the crime were explained in court, with investigators citing video and audio surveillance captured at the scene.
