New York favored to finish off Cleveland in NBA East Finals

With a commanding 3-0 advantage in the series, the New York Knicks head into Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals as the projected favorites against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Sportsbooks listed New York with 1.69 odds to secure another victory, while Cleveland stood at 2.17 as it fights to avoid elimination in the best-of-seven showdown.

The Knicks are once again expected to draw strength from All-Star playmaker Jalen Brunson, whose steady offensive production and leadership have fueled the team’s deep postseason run. Brunson has emerged as the centerpiece of New York’s campaign as the franchise moves closer to an NBA Finals berth.

Cleveland, on the other hand, will pin its hopes on Donovan Mitchell and veteran guard James Harden as the Cavaliers attempt to extend the series and prevent a sweep.

Analysts also pointed to bench production and defensive execution as major factors that could shape the outcome of the contest, especially in late-game situations.

Despite New York’s edge in the betting lines, odds are still subject to movement leading up to tipoff at eight in the morning.
