According to ABS-CBN News, factory workers who will be hired will be receiving $1, 200. That is P59, 000 per month. POEA deputy administrator, Jocelyn Sanchez, stated that this rate can also increase up to P90, 000 per month if the employee is willing to work overtime.
"Pag masipag ka, aabutin ng P90, 000. Ibig sabihin ko sa masipag, 'yung mga overtime," Sanchez said in an interview by ABS-CBN.
It will be a systematized application process because the transactions will be between the Philippine and South Korea government. The Philippine government will organize the application process and communicate with South Korean government, which then is in touch with South Korean employers who are in need of factory workers. This means that the Filipino employee can be assured of employers that will hire them. This is also more secured because the Philippine government is processing the applications. The employees need not be afraid of scams or unnecessary expenses.
Fortunately for the Filipino applicants, there will be no placement fee required for the employees.
Regarding the application process, interested Filipinos who wish to apply can register in online by filling out an employee permit system that could be found on POEA's website. Click the link to view their site: POEA Philippines
After the online registration, a skills test will be scheduled for the participants. This is important for the applicants because this will determine if their names can be considered by Korean employers.
POEA also said that there will be no job interview in the application process.

Sanchez further explained that those applicants who have high scores in their skills test will be prioritized in the hiring process. Those with higher scores have more chances of betting hired. She also said that applicants with longer job experience will have an advantage over those who have less.
"Higher the score, mas priority ka i-hire. Sa pinag-aralan, kahit high school graduate. Sa experience, mabuti kung mahaba," Sanchez added.
Sanchez also said that when applicants pass their skills test, their names will be directly included in the list of applicants from which Korean employers can choose their employees. Once an employee is chosen, he/she will communicate with the employer. They will transact with each other regarding the processing of visa and purchasing of the employees plane ticket.
Moreover, according to POEA, the newly hired employee should have at least P30, 000 for his or her departure expenses.
This working opportunity is perfect for those who are currently job-seekers and wanted to go to South Korea.
