A video went viral on social media last September 04, when an individual impersonates ABS-CBN journalist Karen Davila and was named "Kalad Karen".
Miguel Tanchanco, son of the famous choreographer Geleen Eugenio was the one who posted the video on his Facebook account last September 04, Monday and "Kalad Karen" portrayed their current situation at the same time crossing the river, same way Karen Davila did throughout her Correspondents times.
The Correspondents was ABS-CBN's late night program from 1998-2010 where it was a documentary show that Davila was one of the host.
According to PEP.ph, the veteran journalist simply said that the video was "An Absolute good vibes! Ang galing niya! Made me miss The Correspondents! Congrats Kalad Karen!
Karen Davila is now an anchorwoman of Bandila and said she misses the documentary program as she have watched the video.

As of writing the video has gained 800K++ views and more than 10,000 shares and 8K++ comments from netizens as they have noticed a very distant similarities of "Kalad Karen" and Karen Davila.

Who is the woman behind the viral video "Kalad Karen?"
Jervi Li according to his Facebook page is a former writer of Eat Bulaga and like Davila, Jervi Li graduated graduated from the College of Mass Communications at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Aside from the voice and manner of speaking, Li and Davila also have similarities career-wise.
Davila mainly worked either as a reporter or TV and radio host in both GMA and ABS-CBN networks, Li worked in the same industry as a creative writer and floor director for GMA’s Eat Bulaga and writer for TV 5. According to an ABS-CBN report, Li currently works as the head writer of a reality show in a cable channel.
