The Nissan 370Z is already in PH

Here’s some great news to start your week: The Nissan 370Z has officially been spotted on Philippine soil.

We saw the sports car firsthand in its Nismo form during the 2018 Philippine International Motor Show. At the time, Nissan Philippines already hinted at a future launch for the 370Z, but also clarified that units won’t be available until late 2019. We’re way past that mark by now—we’re well into the third month of 2020—but we’re just glad that the 370Z’s entry into the local market is finally happening.

Though we still can’t say exactly when the launch will be, we’re hoping it’ll be sooner rather than later, especially since Nissan has a drive event for the 370Z scheduled later this week.

The 370Z is powered by a  3.7-liter naturally-aspirated V6 that churns out 332hp and 366Nm of torque in the regular variant. In the 370Z Nismo, the motor is tuned to produce 350hp and 374Nm.

No word yet on the official prices as of this writing, but we were told by a source back in 2018 that the base variant could be priced at roughly P2.5 million once it hits the local market. But that was some time ago, so we’ll keep you posted on the final price figures, as well as the official launch date. Watch this space—we’ll have more for you as we have it.
