Serbian coach Rajko Toroman is set for a comeback in Philippine basketball, this time as a consultant for the Converge FiberXers and the St. Benilde Blazers.
Toroman is scheduled to arrive in the country on Wednesday.
Toroman became known as the coach of the first iteration of Gilas Pilipinas from 2009 to 2011.
After his stint with Gilas, he became the consultant for the Petron Blazer Boosters (now San Miguel Beermen) and the now-defunct Barako Bull Energy.
He later joined the Jordan national team and the Indonesian national team. He was part of the Indonesian coaching squad that defeated the Philippines in the gold medal match of the 2019 SEA Games. (MJD)
