Rachel Anne Daquis might be absent from some of the upcoming Cignal HD Spikers matches in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference next month due to her invitation to join a volleyball coaches’ camp in the United States in October.
“Congrats to team captain Rachel for being invited to a coaches camp in the USA this October,” the HD Spikers wrote on their social media post.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will benefit her volleyball career and eventually the Cignal HD Spikers as she shares her learning and experience with the team,” the team added.
During Daquis’ absence, the HD Spikers will depend on Jovelyn Gonzaga, rookie Vanessa Gandler, Toni Rose Basas, Frances Molina, and Marivic Meneses to provide offense.
