Chery Tiggo Crossovers’ volleyball player, Ennajie Laure, and former child star Bugoy Cariño are now engaged.
Cariño proposed to Laure during his 21st birthday celebration on Sunday night, as shown in a video posted by Js Sarinas.
Laure and Cariño began their relationship during her early years with the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses.
During that time, Laure missed a UAAP season amid rumors of her pregnancy with Cariño, although she maintained that she had a back injury at the time.
Laure later confirmed on her social media account that she was indeed pregnant during the period when she took a break from playing with the Golden Tigresses.
The Laure-Cariño relationship faced criticism from some netizens because the volleyball player is five years older than the Kapamilya actor.
