Oliver Almadro has tapped his former understudy to be the new head coach of the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League.
Timothy Sto. Tomas has recently been appointed as the new mentor of the Angels in hopes of a better campaign in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.
He served as an assistant coach for Almadro, who was promoted to head of volleyball operations at Petro Gazz.
Currently, Sto. Tomas is also the head coach of the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles men’s volleyball team.
The Angels are coming off a ninth-place finish in the PVL Invitational Conference.
