Sports insider Snow Badua appeared to have thrown shade at Jeron Teng in his social media post on Tuesday.
Badua’s post came after reports revealed that Teng parted ways with the Converge FiberXers.
In his post, Badua took a subtle jab at Teng for allegedly asking for a salary of P800,000 per month. Teng’s contract with Converge expired prior to his release.
“Kuliglig told me that the player who was just released was reportedly asking for… teng tere teng teng… 800K,” Badua wrote on his post.
Teng was Converge’s second-leading scorer last season with an average of 12.9 points per game.
In a report from Spin.ph, coach Aldin Ayo said that it was the team that decided to let go of Teng.
“It’s the decision of management,” Ayo said. “Expired ‘yung kontrata niya. Nag-decide ‘yung management ng ganun.” (MJD)
