A total of 57 prospects have officially made the final cut for the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Draft after successfully completing all documentary requirements, making them eligible for Sunday’s draft festivities at Novotel Manila Araneta City, according to the PVL website.
Headlining the draft class is three-time UAAP Most Valuable Player Mhicaela Belen of National University, who leads a deep pool of collegiate standouts and overseas-trained hopefuls vying for a shot at the professional ranks.
Belen will be joined by NU teammates Erin Pangilinan, Sheena Toring, Pearl An Denura, and Jerrymie Ann Turaray in the official draft pool.
De La Salle University will also have strong representation with Alleiah Malaluan, Baby Jyne Soreno, Julyana Tolentino, and Jessa Ordiales. Adamson University’s contingent includes May Ann Nuique, Ayesha Juegos, Jules Lopena, Aliah Marce, Kylene Villegas, and May Roque.
Ateneo’s Alexis Miner and Lyann De Guzman, Far Eastern University’s Jean Asis, Chenie Tagaod, Ann Monares, and Lyka Bautista, UST’s Pia Abbu and Renee Penafiel, UE’s Riza Nogales, and UP’s Nica Celis round out the UAAP delegation.
Angela Jackson, a former UP Integrated School spiker and the youngest applicant at just 20 years old, also joins the pool.
Two Filipino-American setters with international experience—6-foot-1 Alohi Robins-Hardy and Central Washington University standout Tia Andaya—are also in the mix, hoping to land PVL contracts.
From the NCAA, Season 97 MVP Mycah Go of College of Saint Benilde headlines a 17-player group, which also includes:
Arellano: Kristine Adante, Cherry Mae Cuenca, Pauline De Guzman
Letran: Angelique Ledesma, Lea Tapang
EAC: Jhan Pauline Fortuno, Jamaica Villena
JRU: Maliey Amante, Karyla Jasareno, Jerry Lyn Laurente

Four Fil-Canadian players are also eyeing spots in the PVL: Yveian Orpiano (Concordia University of Edmonton), Reinali Calisin (Lawrence Technological University), Clara Serrano (Olds College), and Divine Cortez (University of Saskatchewan). They follow in the footsteps of PLDT’s Savi Davison and Creamline’s Aleiah Torres.
Other draft hopefuls include Shane Carmona, Erika Deloria, and Zenneth Perolino (Enderun Colleges); Ivy Aquino (Asian Institute of Maritime Studies); Gerlie Trilles (CIT Colleges of Paniqui Foundation); Eika Bucog (Lyceum-Batangas); and 39-year-old Rose Joy Pinuela (Olivarez College).
Out of 60 players who initially applied, three failed to complete the necessary documents and were declared ineligible: Arellano’s Nenita Padua, Fil-Canadian Mary Ann Rioflorido, and Ezriah Martinez of the University of the Cordilleras.
Capital1, who won the draft lottery earlier this month, owns the No. 1 overall pick. Galeries Tower will pick second, followed by Farm Fresh (third) and NXLED (fourth). Rounding out the first round are Zus Coffee, Cignal, Choco Mucho, Chery Tiggo, PLDT, Akari, Petro Gazz, and Creamline.
