Filipinas midfielder Sara Eggesvik has officially bid farewell to her former club, Western United, as she takes on a new opportunity in Europe, signing with LSK Kvinner in Norway.
In an Instagram post, the 28-year-old international football star expressed gratitude to the Australian club’s coaches, teammates, staff, and fans for their support during her stint. She also shared snapshots of her time with the team.
“Grateful for my time at Western United. Thank you to the staff, my teammates, and especially the incredible fans for all the support. Wishing the club continued success,” Eggesvik wrote.
The Philippines international—who has Norwegian heritage through her father—made 19 appearances in Green and Black last season, scoring two goals, both via headers, against Western Sydney Wanderers and Wellington Phoenix.
Earlier this month, Eggesvik was announced as part of LSK Kvinner, one of the most successful clubs in Norway’s top-tier Toppserien women’s football league.
As of August 2025, she has earned 43 international caps for the Philippines Women’s National Football Team.
