PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — The Phenix City coroner has identified the man who was found dead in a residential pool Monday afternoon.
The corner identified the man found was 67-year-old Edward James Williams of Phenix City.
According to Phenix City Police Capt. Skip Lassiter, a man was discovered in a private residential pool near the area of 23rd Court by the homeowner.
The death is currently being investigated as a suspicious death, while the authorities wait for the autopsy to be completed.
