EUFAULA, Ala. (WRBL) — The Eufaula Police Department says a man was taken into custody on Wednesday after a traffic stop leads to drugs, paraphernalia and a gun seized.
Authorities say on Sept. 17, EPD's Special Operations/Narcotics Investigators conducted a probable cause traffic stop of a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Edaniel Bowers.
Eufaula's K9, Coco gave a positive indication on the vehicle and a search was conducted by officers, which led to approximately 42 grams of powder cocaine, approximately 9 ounces of synthetic cannabinoids, digital scales, drug packaging materials and a firearm being found inside, according to authorities.
Bowers currently faces charges of drug trafficking, resisting arrest, attempting to elude, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
