COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — New Horizons Behavioral Health is set to host its annual Recovery on the River event to celebrate National Recovery Month.
Officials with New Horizons Behavioral Health say Recovery Month advocates awareness of recovery from substance use and mental health disorders.
The event is part of the Georgia Recovers Bus Tour, which is a statewide initiative that celebrates and showcases the state's various recovery communities during National Recovery Month.
According to officials, Columbus is the final stop on the final day of the bus tour. The first 200 guests will get a free t-shirt and $10 food truck voucher.
The free event will take place Sept. 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Woodruff Riverfront Park.
