The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s roster for the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup next month is already complete.
Head coach Tim Cone confirmed that no further changes are expected, noting there will be no additions or subtractions to the current lineup.
“We’re complete,” Cone said in a text message to Fastbreak on Friday.
The Gin Kings made only minor adjustments to their roster this offseason, bringing in rookie Sonny Estil and veteran big man Norbert Torres.
Departing the squad were Jamie Malonzo, who has taken his talents to the Kyoto Hannaryz in Japan, Von Pessumal (NorthPort Batang Pier), Paul Garcia (Terrafirma Dyip), and longtime floor general LA Tenorio, who has transitioned to a new role as head coach of the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots.
Ginebra’s core remains intact, led by Earl Scottie Thompson, Stephen Holt, Troy Rosario, Japeth Aguilar, Jeremiah Gray, Rhon Jay Abarrientos, Maverick Ahanmisi, Nard John Pinto, Jayson David, Benedict Adamos, Ralph Cu, Raymond Aguilar, Aljon Mariano, and Isaac Go. (AC)
