Thirdy Ravena is prepared to rejoin the Gilas Pilipinas program under head coach Tim Cone if called upon.
Ravena said representing the country remains a priority for him, adding that his current status as a free agent gives him greater flexibility to commit to national team duties.
“I am always ready to represent the country naman depende na lang kung may invite tayo,” Ravena said in an exclusive interview with Fastbreak’s Zeus Valdez.
“And of course sa situation, now I am a free agent so I have more time, hindi na kailangan kausapin ’yung team kasi wala akong team,” he added.
The veteran guard has been a longtime fixture in the national team under then head coach Vincent “Chot” Reyes, contributing to multiple international campaigns over the years.
Ravena was recently part of the Norman Black-coached Gilas Pilipinas team that captured the gold medal at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand. (AC)
