There’s no greater love than a parent’s love towards their children. Almost every parent would be willing to sacrifice their lives, happiness, and strength for the sake of their offspring.
Such is the story of this man who got a job as a cab driver when he lost his daughter 23 years ago.
Wang Mingqing’s daughter was only 3 years old when she disappeared. He and his wife were busy selling fruit during at the time which is why they didn’t realize that their daughter was already gone.
Wang reported it to the police and even searched children’s shelters and hospitals to no avail. They even put up missing person signs all over the city hoping that someone would find their daughter and return her to them.
Because he never lost hope, he decided to get a job as a taxi driver in 2015 thinking that he would still be able to find his daughter.
For the last two years he has been handing out cards with his missing daughter’s information to at least 5,000 passengers. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t found her.
“My biggest wish right now is that someday my daughter will sit down in my car, and shout “Dad!” Wang says. When asked what he would say to her, Wang grew solemn. “I’m sorry, Dad didn’t live up to his responsibilities as a father,” he said.
